Become a member
We appreciate and value all of our incredible members. By being a DCA member, you are helping our organisation and the local arts community to grow.
Members are also an essential part of our governance. DCA’s Board is elected by members at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). We seek our members’ views and keep them informed via our regular mailouts as well as invitations to participate or volunteer at our events and activities.
Our membership is annual and based upon the date of subscription. You can join by clicking the buttons below and completing the electronic form. You can use your credit card to make a payment.
Rates for membership are:
- Individual $5 or $15 if you love DCA and can afford it.
- Family $15
- Organisation $20
To ensure new member’s values are aligned to the organisation, a new member’s application needs to be approved by two existing members.

Volunteer
If you’re looking to do something rewarding, fun and meaningful, join our team of volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and share your existing skills with others.
There are plenty of ways you can get involved including:
- helping at workshops and/or events
- gardening in the back courtyard
- technical and production support – video, sound, lighting
- sharing art and craft skills
- media and promotion
- IT skills
- administration
As a member and volunteer, you can also nominate to join the Board of Darwin Community Arts.
Donate
Do you like the work that DCA does? Money received from donations will go towards supporting our local community art programs and activities.
You can make a one-off donation. Any donation over $2 is tax-deductible and if you fill in your details, we will send you a tax receipt.
