The Free Space Studio is an accessible visual arts studio project focused on providing skills opportunities for artists with disabilities. Established in 2013, The Free Space Studio currently houses a collective of 18 visual artists. Free Space Studio actively promotes the development and presentation of artist’s work by providing an accessible studio space, high-quality art materials, and skills development workshops – and by facilitating exhibition opportunities and other professional practice outcomes, including publications, promotional opportunities featuring represented artists, studio residencies and travel opportunities.
