The Mudul-ma Community Art Space is available to community groups, artist groups & individual artists to use. Features of the space include; air-conditioning, 6 workshop tables on wheels that can be set-up as needed, mobile monitor with conference speaker set-up, small lounge area, toilet and mini tea/coffee station. The wheelchair access toilet is located next door via our theatre space.
Art Space for hire
Monday – Sunday, 9am – 9pm
DCA hires accessible art workshop space to community groups and individual artists for one-off workshops, meetings, forums and short-term community projects. Studio hire fees are provided at a subsidised rate and include the use of the space on an hourly basis, use of our equipment, admin costs and overheads.
Hire does not include art materials.
Hire Fees
Funded or profit making activities – $25 per hour
Not for profit community groups and art activities – $15 per hour.
If this cost is prohibitive please still contact us to discuss your activity. If it is aligned with our mission and purpose we may be able to offer a further discount.
Dimensions
The art workshop space is 14.8m long by 5m wide. There is a Yarning Circle at the back right of the space with cushions, rug and lounge chairs that is 6m x 5m.
